Media filter (vertical)
Introduction
The media filter can use a single media or multiple media according to different needs. The main media of single-media filters are generally quartz sand, manganese sand, and activated carbon. Multi-layer media filters are also called multi-media filters. Its filter media is composed of more than one filter media, generally quartz sand, anthracite and other contact medium.
The quartz sand filter is mainly used to reduce the suspended substance and turbidity indicators of the filtered water. The activated carbon filter is mainly used to reduce the content of organic matter and oxides (residual chlorine). The manganese sand in the manganese sand filter mainly plays a catalytic role, and cooperates with the oxidation of dissolved oxygen in the water to remove iron and manganese ions from the water.
Multi-media multi-filter usually refers to a filter composed of anthracite and quartz sand, which is used to reduce the suspended substance and turbidity indicators of the filtered water.
Although the aforementioned filter materials are different, the structure of the filter body is basically similar.
Application
1. It is suitable for water plants in rural towns or industrial and mining enterprises that use all kinds of rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other water source with raw water suspended substance less than 20mg/l. Can be used as the main water purification device.
2. For lake water sources with low turbidity and seasonal algae, it has its special adaptability.
3. Pre-treatment equipment for high-purity water, beverage industry water, boiler water and other pre-water treatment.
4. Used in various industrial circulating water systems, which can effectively and greatly improve the quality of circulating water.
5. Used in the middle water system, using the sewage plant as the water source, as a treatment equipment for purifying reusing water.
Equipment description:

Introduction
