Introduction
Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a new type of sewage treatment technology that combines high-efficiency membrane separation technology and activated sludge method. It can be used for municipal or industrial wastewater treatment with high organic content. The solid-liquid separation process using membrane modules replaces the traditional sedimentation process, which can effectively remove suspended solid particles and organic particles, and prepare sterile water. Compared with the traditional process, MBR can make the activated sludge have a higher MLSS value, prolong its residence time in the reactor, and improve the nitrogen removal rate and organic matter degradation.
The equipment is mainly used for domestic sewage treatment in residential communities (including villa communities), high-end hotels, hospitals, comprehensive office buildings and various public buildings. The quality of the outlet water treated by this equipment meets the national discharge standards.
The equipment is usually composed of (1) primary sedimentation tank, (2) contact oxidation tank, (3) secondary sedimentation tank (MBR membrane tank), (4) disinfection tank and disinfection device, (5) sludge tank, (6) Fan room and fan.
1. The floor area is small. In the MBR process, the concentration of activated sludge is generally controlled at 7000 to 18000 mg/L. This is equivalent to five times that of the traditional activated sludge method. At the same time, the equipment can be buried below the surface, and the surface above the equipment can be used for greening or other land, without the need for building, heating, and insulation.
2. Generally speaking, the sewage treated by the MBR process can hardly detect suspended solids, and the turbidity is less than 1NTU. Therefore, the water produced by the MBR process can be used in almost all non-potable backwater fields-agricultural green irrigation, boilers Make-up water and industrial process water supply, etc.
3. The MLSS value in the reactor is very high (up to 50g/L), therefore, the F/M value in the reactor is very low, so that the organisms in the reactor are in the endogenous respiration stage due to nutritional limitations. The value-added rate is very low, and the amount of remaining sludge is very small, which greatly reduces the cost of sludge treatment and disposal.
